Men’s underwear made of 24-carat gold – made in Australia

Men's underwear made of Gold

Sidney brand, AussieBum, has created a yarn that mixes polyester and lycra with a 100% gold coating. They make the most exclusive underpants in the world: a luxury item is around 10,000 euros per unit.

Gold, the most precious of all metals, has always captivated humanity. So it is not surprising that it is increasingly common to find clothing made of this precious metal.

The Australian brand from Sidney, AussieBum, decided to create briefs made of 24-carat gold. The price of this item of real luxury is around 10,000 euros per piece.

The underwear is personalized and made-to-measure

Aussiebum, a men’s underwear and swimwear manufacturer company, appeared in 2001. Sydney designs and dispatches all of its products, and China, Thailand, Bangladesh, and Vietnam manufacture them. The brand is trendy online since the aussieBum is the 7th most popular search term in Australia.

The company became famous for its underwear line, called Wonderjock, launched in November 2006. It is a pair of underpants that include a kind of bag that strikingly highlights masculine attributes, in the true Wonderbra style. The product has been a complete success since. In the first week alone, people bought 50,000 units of the affordable version of this model. In the past year, the company sold more than a million pieces of underwear worldwide.

The exclusive gold briefs of the brand are shaped with a thread produced in Switzerland, later woven in a factory in Queensland. Sean Ashby, the founder of the company, designs the underwear and Sydney makes it.

The designers make each of these underpants to measure according to clients’ requests. The personalized product also incorporates “EnlargeIT” technology.

Besides the underwear and the swimwear, in recent years, the Australian company has also increased its production line of other apparel, including leisure time, sportswear, and home wear. It has gained many followers, rivaling labels such as Calvin Klaine or Dolce & Gabbana.

Ewan McGregor, Billy Connolly, and Daniel Radcliffe are among the fans of AussieBum. David Beckham, the soccer superstar, and trendsetter of men’s fashion, has also appeared in the brand.

The brand retails in some of the world’s biggest department stores, such as Selfridges, Harrods, and House of Fraser in the UK, Printemps in Paris, France, KaDeWe in Berlin, Germany, and Harvey Nichols in Dubai, UAE. The product is also available in small boutiques in various cities around the world. AussieBum’s online store sends items to more than 150 countries, with free delivery.
