Atupri Health Insurance, Bitcoin Suisse, and Customers

A major health insurance provider Atupri Health Insurance from Switzerland made the right decision by accepting crypto payments. According to the information provided by the insurance company in cooperation with the crypto financial services company Bitcoin Suisse, the companies fulfilled this goal.

Thanks to this cooperation, 200,000 customers of Atupri Health Insurance will be able to make crypto payments. These will be done using Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Customers of Atupri should take into account that, a major health insurance provider in Switzerland will not be holding any digital assets itself. Last year, annual sales reached $887 million.

It will receive fiat payments in Swiss francs once Bitcoin or Ethereum is exchanged by the crypto financial services company. Importantly, customers will have to pay any fees associated with mining.

Atupri Health Insurance is a pioneer when it comes to the healthcare sector. Also, the company offers insurance solutions with long-term prospects. The company understands the importance of blockchain technology as well as the associated use of cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin Suisse and interesting details

The crypto financial services company Bitcoin Suisse takes care of more than $1 billion in assets. Notably, Bitcoin Suisse has been making forays into different financial sectors for some time.

Interestingly, the crypto broker added custodial support and staking services for Tezos and included gold, silver, and platinum for trading on its platform.

Furthermore, Bitcoin Suisse also reportedly plans to hold a security token offering in 2021. In addition, it intends to list its assets on the stock exchange by 2022.

Switzerland is home to the ‘Crypto Valley’ a fintech-friendly region based in the city of Zug. This is not the end of the story, as the municipality of Zermatt recently rolled out a Bitcoin tax payment option in cooperation with Bitcoin Suisse. Insurance companies in Switzerland, as well as other countries, should take an example from Atupri Health Insurance.
