Binance offers the world’s first IGO starring robot Sophia

AI robot Sophia appears to be tokenized and sold in an auction as part of a Metaverse project. The project is named Noah’s Ark. Binance came up with an idea to launch this campaign as an IGO (Initial Game Offering).

On December 16, it will feature 100 intelligent NFTs. They will be available for auction and named “The Transmedia Universe of AI Sophia.”

The IGO will include a limited-edition collection of one hundred Intelligent NFTs starring Sophia.

As the world’s first IGO, it promises an innovation stage in crypto funding that will be a completely new experience. So, what exactly are these features?

What is a Binance IGO?

ICOs known as Initial Coin Offerings represented the industry standard in how crypto projects raised money until 2017. The ICO inspired many projects, such as NEO and Ethereum. However, ICOs went into trouble after several high-profile exit scams, for example, OneCoin, headed by Ruja Ignatova.

Ignatova disappeared with funds after convincing investors to put their money into crypto.

As expected, such incidents embarrassed ICOs, leading to their disappearance. Since then, different fundraising ideas have appeared, including IEOs (Initial Exchange Offerings) and STOs (Security Token Offerings).

Binance came up with an idea to launch the IGO concept using the Noah’s Ark project and Sophia. IGOs operate the same as any other fundraising concept, but IGOs are more related to gaming projects.

Noah’s Ark

It represents an intelligent metaverse that intends to maintain and develop humans’ culture, knowledge, and collective intelligence.

Sophia plays a virtual anime version known as an intelligent NFT (iNFT called Sophia beingAI) in this metaverse. As an iNFT, Sophia beingAI can interact independently with humans inside Noah’s Ark, almost the same way as in real life. Jeanne Lim, the co-founder of beingAI, said that Sophia would bridge technology and humans to achieve states such as unconditional love.
