Enjin launched an early access version of the blockchain on April 6. JumpNet is aprivate fast proof of authorization blockchain, using the issuance and minting of NFTs with zero gas fees.

Together with Enjin’s partners, more than 50 NFT projects have signed the JumpNet blockchain project. Major players in the financial industry, such as Binance, OKEx, and Microsoft, have all obtained blockchain services. According to the Enjin’s Vice president, JumpNet has accelerated the pace of development of the company’s ecosystem.

Eco-friendly NFT Services

The start-up company plans to launch carbon-neutral NFT through the JumpNet network by 2030. It will give chance everyone interested to use environmentally friendly NFT casting technology.

Four validator nodes run JumpNet. These nodes operate under the authorization proof consensus model and Run the Ethereumvirtual machine. It means that NFTs on JumpNet can be minted and transferred without consuming gas. This method consumes high power, and miners can currently benefit from it. Enjinestimates that JumpNet will only consume 0.0002% of the energy required by Ethereum.

As a first step in mitigating environmental impact, Enjin also created the ERC-1155 token standard. It reduces NFT casting gas costs by nearly 90%.

Enjin plans to release an Enfinity blockchain this year

After successfully launching JumpNet, Enjin plans to release Efinity. Enfinity is an NFT-centric decentralized blockchain, with up to 1,000 validator nodes later this year. The release of JumpNet and Efinity increases the price of Enjin’s ENJ token.
