Japan And Australian Shares Depreciate at The Stock Exchange

On Monday, after the close, Japan stocks were lower as shrinkage in the Paper & Pulp, Railway & Bus and Real Estate sectors drove shares lower.

At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 weakened 1.74% hitting a 1-month low.

The best performer on the stock exchange that was recorded on the session of the Nikkei 225 was Toyobo Co. Ltd., which gained 5.01% or 65.0 points trading at 1363.0 at the close.

Olympus Corp. increased 4.34% or 51.0 points to end at 1226.0 and Subaru Corp strengthened 3.89% or 95.5 points to 2553.5 in the late trading.

The worst performers of the session were Kobe Steel, Ltd., which dropped 15.02% or 99.0 trading at 560.0 at the close.

Yahoo Japan Corp. also slipped 12.81% or 41.0 points to end at 279.0. NTT Data Corp. also weakened 7.48% or 107.0 points to 1324.0.

Falling stocks are more than the advancing ones on the Tokyo Stock Exchange by 3168 to 441, and 124 ended unchanged.

Shares in Kobe Steel, Ltd. declined to 3-years lows; decreasing 15.02% or 99.0 to 560.0.

The Nikkei Volatility, measuring the implied volatility of Nikkei 225 options, was not moved from 0.00% to 17.93 a 1-month high.

September delivery of crude oil fell 1.35% or 0.75 to $54.91 a barrel.

Elsewhere in commodities trading, October delivery of Brent oil plunged 1.49% or 0.92 to hit $60.97 a barrel.

Meanwhile, the December Gold Futures contracts grew 0.77% or 11.25 to trade at $1468.75 a troy ounce.

USD/JPY weakened 0.61% to 105.92, while EUR/JPY also dropped 0.46% to 117.81.

The US Dollar Index Futures glided 0.07% at 97.782 at the stock exchange.

Australian Stocks Closed Lower After Trading

On Monday the Australian stocks closed lower with Japan stocks, as reduction in the IT, Metals & Mining, and Materials sectors led shares lower.

At the end of the trading in Sydney, the S&P/ASX 200 fell 1.90% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers recorded on the session of the S&P/ASX 200 were Resolute Mining Ltd, which grew 4.30% or 0.080 points to trade at 1.940 at the close.

Meanwhile, Ardent Leisure Ltd increased by 3.40% or 0.040 points to end at 1.215. Oil Search Ltd also strengthened 3.31% or 0.230 points to 7.170 in the late trading.

The worst performers on the stock exchange that was recorded on the session were Appen Ltd, which glided 10.61% or 3.190 trading at 26.870 at the close. Wisetech Global Ltd also declined 8.06% or 2.570 points to end at 29.300. Lastly, Hub24 Ltd also weakened 7.86% or 0.950 points to 11.140.

Falling stocks are more than the advancing ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 959 to 295, and 355 ended unchanged.

The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, that measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, improved 19.12% to 15.213 a new 1-month high.

Gold Futures for December delivery rose 0.83% or 12.15 to $1469.65 a troy ounce.

Elsewhere in commodities trading, September delivery for Crude oil plunged 1.22% or 0.68 hitting $54.98 a barrel. Meanwhile, the October Brent oil deal glided 1.41% or 0.87 trading at $61.02 a barrel.

AUD/USD weakened 0.38% to 0.6773, while AUD/JPY also dropped 0.87% to 71.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures plunged 0.11% at 97.748 at the stock exchange.
