Motorola will release foldable phones again

According to a Weibo post, Motorola is working on a new version of its foldable smartphones. Currently, Lenovo manages Motorola’s smartphone business.

The general manager of the Lenovo Mobile Business Group in China, Chen Jin, announced this news. He describes how the company is quietly working on a new addition to its foldable smartphones. Motorola’s first two modern foldable smartphones were modest phones with very big price tags.

Jin’s post mentions that the smartphone will come with a better interface, better processor, and a tweaked appearance. However, it’s difficult to say how different the third-generation device will look from the last one at this early stage. It released its Razr foldable in 2019. later the second-generation Razr came with 5G. Possibly the third attempt will be a nice pick even though its previous two tries seemed hard to recommend.

Today’s news makes it appear like the company hasn’t given up on Razr’s resurrection.
