A new trend has recently appeared in the brokerage world. The traders have started broadening their horizons and creating new partnerships with global sports representatives.
CMC Markets has not fallen behind the trend. The company made a progressive and important step to expand its marketing reach. Recently, CMC Markets announced that it had formed a sponsorship agreement with Aussie rules football team St Kilda.
The St Kilda Football Club, also known as Saints, is an Australian football club based in Melbourne. Besides, St Kilda most recently won the minor premiership in the 2009 Australian Football League season.
The new partnership will last for several years, until late 2022. St Kilda will play with the retail broker’s logo on their team shorts.
The two organizations take pride in their new partnership. Moreover, they aim to build a new and existing partnership for their supporters to enjoy.
The head of CMC Markets in the Asia Pacific and Canada, Matt Lewis, stated that both partners cherish the community they have created. He highlighted the fact that football fans, investors, and partners have created a unity of people who drive and inspire the company.
CMC Market is happy to be part of the St Kilda Football Club. The trader is looking forward to supporting the club over the coming years.
CMC Markets has tried its hand at sports sponsorship in Australia before. For several years, the trading company-sponsored NSW a rugby team (New South Wales) Waratahs. Also, last year, the company announced a deal with a New Zealand motorsport racer prodigy, 17-year-old Peter Vodanovich.
St Kilda’s general manager of commercial, Chris Larkins, stated that CMC Markets is Australia’s second-largest retail and trading provider. He also added that St Kilda Football Club is looking forward to growing this partnership over the coming years.
