On Monday, stock across the Asia Pacific region fell, as the coronavirus outbreak continues to influence the investor sentiment. However, at the moment governments are working round the clock to soften the impact of the outbreak. They plan to spend billions of dollars to stabilize the situation. However, it may not be enough to avoid a recession.

Singapore is the financial hub. On Monday, the Straits Times Index fell 7.35% to close at 2,233.48.
