Xiaomi’s new TV series arrives in 7 screen sizes

Xiaomi Mi TV EA 2022 is official. It is the new range of Xiaomi televisions, which stands out for having a metal unibody design. Totally, there will be seven models with various screen sizes and slight differences.

The Asian giant markets all kinds of devices of all imaginable categories, although the truth is that it puts the accent on the sectors in which it wants to stand out.

Mobile phones are one of them, but they are not the only ones. Xiaomi televisions have gained prominence in recent periods, and it is clear that the brand is committed to this category. Reasonable proof of this is their effort to innovate, with models like the Mi TV LUX Transparent Edition.

Now, the company has just presented its new range of televisions in China. The new TV EA 2022 series stands out for its unibody design, available in seven screen sizes: 32, 40, 43, 50, 55, 65, and 75 inches. All seven TVs have the same design, but their specifications vary slightly depending on the model.

Premium design for affordable prices

The entire Xiaomi Mi TV EA 2022 line has an LED-backlit LCD panel, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a viewing angle of 178º. However, the screen resolution varies depending on the size, from HD to 4K.

We also find some differences in the audio section. The HD and FHD models possess two 8W DTS-HD speakers. Meanwhile, those with a 4K panel have two 10W speakers. Additionally, the 4K variants include far-field microphones for hands-free voice control and Bluetooth remote control.

We can also see the distinctions between the HD and FHD models and the 4K variants. The former comes with a 64-bit dual-core Amlogic processor and 1GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the advanced versions possess a 64-bit quad-core Amlogic and 1.5GB of RAM. Internal storage is 8GB, and it’s the same for all of the variants.

Retail prices in China for the models vary between $153 and $766. Starting April 18, all the models, except for the 75-inch version, will be available for pre-order.
