Binance Card and Residents of the European Economic Area

Cryptocurrencies slowly but steadily became part of the modern world. Moreover, thanks to Binance Card and cryptocurrency debit cards in general, it will be easier to make cryptocurrencies more popular around the world.

Let’s have a look at this card. In the beginning, the cryptocurrency debit card will support four cryptocurrencies. This will include Bitcoin, Swipe’s Native SXP token, as well as Binance’s native token BNB and stablecoin Binance USD (BUSD).

According to the announcement, this Card will allow users to instantly convert the cryptocurrencies to fiat. Importantly, customers will be able to spend them across 200 regions and territories. Furthermore, more than 60 million merchants around the world will accept this crypto debit card.

Binance Card and new opportunities

People do not have to worry about this card, as it is quite simple to use. This card will basically work like a traditional debit card. The Card will not require customers to manually convert crypto to fiat before making a purchase.

This is not the end of the story, as users will also be able to recharge their card wallets directly from their spot wallets on Binance. Moreover, users can choose the order of preference to debit their BNB, SXP, BTC, and BUSD assets.

It is worth mentioning that Binance Card is officially debuting in countries of the European Economic Area (EEA). Based on the information provided by Binance, users will be able to apply for this highly-anticipated cryptocurrency debit card starting in August.

Hopefully, people who are from the United Kingdom will also be able to apply for this card in the near future. Currently, Swipe is available in 31 countries within the European Economic Area.

At the moment, Swipe is not available in the United States. Nevertheless, the firm wants to release the service in the near future, after completing the appropriate licensing and registration.
