Crypto-related companies are working hard to gain recognition in the local as well as international markets. Cryptocurrencies continue to gain popularity, as more and more people are willing to invest in cryptocurrencies. This week Bitcoin payment processing company BitPay joined the ranks of other 499 important technology companies.
It is worth noting that Deloitte sees BitPay as one of North America’s top 500 leading-edge technology outfits, as shown by its Technology Fast 500 list. People should take into account that Deloitte is one of the Big Four accounting organizations along with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, as well as KPMG. The head office of Deloitte is located in London.
This week BitPay made an important announcement. According to the announcement, the Bitcoin payment processing company sits in 341st position. Interestingly, the social media powerhouse Pinterest occupies 348th place.
Mexico’s Second-Richest Man and Bitcoin
Interestingly, BitPay is the world’s largest provider of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment services. People should keep in mind that, to be eligible for Technology Fast 500, companies must own proprietary intellectual technology that is sold to customers in products to the majority of the company’s operating revenues.
Importantly, companies must have base-year operating revenues of at least $US50,000, as well as current-year operating revenues of at least $US5 million. This is not the end of the story, as companies must be in business for a minimum of four years. Another requirement is the location of the head office. Notably, headquarters must be located in North America.
At the moment, the first place belongs to Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, showing a tremendous 106,508% growth, whereas, at 341, BitPay boasts 290% growth. Moreover, media streaming service provider Roku sits further down the slate in 483rd position. BitPay’s management should be proud of this result, as the company joined the list of top companies.
