Shiba Lands and NFT House Sale

Non-Fungible Tokens, nft

NFT and technology integration continues. The team behind Shiba Inu is distributing tokenized real estate called “Shiba Lands” as part of its upcoming meta-project. Shiba has not yet named the next meta-version. It also said the official name would be announced later this month.

The start date for the sale of tokenized land and auctions will announce soon. Accordingly, LEASH token holders will be granted first access to land sale events. After the first part of sales, entry will be accessible to the public.

In a statement released on February 8, the team explained the importance of introducing additional benefits to the SHIB ecosystem. They say the team focuses not only on the Metaverse industry; But also on the disruption of many industries within the crypto world and beyond. Therefore, the meta version serves as a driver in a sustainable ecosystem. The company adds even more benefits and projects to ShibArmy.

NFT Market

The NFT market faced a noticeable decline this week. Long list flooring prices for top projects saw a loss of almost 10%. According to NFT Price Floor, BAYC, CryptoPunks, and Clone X have lost 8.79%, 9.47%, and 6.67% in the last 24 hours. The market seems to be shrinking since 2022 saw a meteor wave hitherto. The main factor related to the lower prices of top projects is the decrease in trading volume observed on OpenSea. According to reports, total trading activity on the platform fell by 30%.

The long-awaited release of Open Beta for NFT Skyweaver was released this week; For a limited number of players behind closed doors after months of testing. Skyweaver is based on the Polygon network and developed by Horizon Blockchain Games, whose team jointly developed the ERC-1155 token standard. The game allows players to collect and generate tokenized cards by fighting each other and trading the cards through the market. According to Skyweaver, the game-to-earn game already has 233,000 apps installed. More than three million games have been played in private beta. And 345,000 people registered in anticipation before the open beta went live on February 8. Horizon Blockchain Games co-founder Peter Kieltyka said the firm makes the game as user-friendly as possible.

NFT Real Estate

DeFi Unlimited co-founder Leslie Alessandra is auctioning her home for $650,000 NFT. The house is for sale in partnership with Heckler Realty and Propy. To participate in the auction, bidders will need an NFT wallet with a starting price of $650,000. The winner of the NFT auction will receive a tokenized deed of ownership along with physical property in the “meatspace” or real world. Alessandra said the technology would revolutionize the real estate industry by providing speed, transparency, and security at unprecedented levels. On February 9, the owner said the sale was evidence of how the real estate industry can absorb the technology.

GameStop stock prices have risen about 13%. Following rumors circulating on the Internet about a partnership with Microsoft to work on NFT games. Zynga, best known for the FarmVille and CSR Racing series, plans to release NFT-based games.
