eToro Extends Partnership with SK Slavia Prague

eToro

For the following season, the Israeli financial firm eToro has reaffirmed its patronage of SK Slavia Prague, the most venerable football club in the Czech Republic. The company, which specializes in social trading and investment, first assumed the mantle of the club’s sponsor in 2021, following the establishment of a multi-year accord.

eToro Maintains Commitment to Football Sponsorship

eToro formally announced the perpetuation of its sponsorship contract with SK Slavia Prague today (Monday), highlighting that this decision is a direct response to the club’s ‘noteworthy victory’ in the previous season’s Czech Cup. As part of the extended agreement, eToro will remain the primary emblem on the team’s uniforms. It will also propagate its brand through various channels, including LED displays, social media platforms, fan forums, and perimeter advertising boards.

Shany Hahn Shalom, eToro’s Regional Manager for Northern and Central Eastern Europe, elucidated on the extension, “The previous season saw SK Slavia Prague exhibit exceptional prowess and tenacity, culminating in their capture of the highly coveted Czech Cup title. eToro takes immense pride in aligning with a team that perpetually manifests excellence, both within and beyond the realm of competitive play.”

eToro’s renewed commitment to SK Slavia Prague is one of several sponsorship contracts the company has executed across Europe this year. Last week, the firm divulged sponsorship arrangements with four UK-based football clubs, targeting participation in the World’s Women’s Cup slated July 20, 2023. The beneficiaries of these sponsorships include prominent clubs such as Arsenal, Crystal Palace, Everton, and West Ham.

In recent times, eToro has also instituted new partnerships with the Dutch football institution AZ Alkmaar, Spanish basketball franchise Baskonia, and Premiership Rugby, England’s elite professional rugby union league.

Before these recent accords, eToro had already carved out a significant niche as a European sports sponsor. In 2020, the firm significantly amplified its sports sponsorship portfolio, incorporating 12 football teams from the UK and Germany. EToro’s sponsorship roster currently includes nearly 20 teams spanning the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Spanish Liga ACB, and Rugby Australia.

Commenting on the renewed contract with eToro, Martin Říha, CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board at SK Slavia Prague, expressed his enthusiasm regarding continuing the sponsorship collaboration.

“At Slavia, we place a premium on enduring collaborations with our partners,” said Říha. “The mutual eagerness to extend the contract signifies that the partnership is unequivocally successful, and we harbor aspirations that it will persist with equal, if not greater, success in the future.”
