eToro Signs Sponsorship Deal with Spanish Baskonia Club

eToro

eToro has ventured into basketball sponsorship by becoming the official sponsor of the Spanish professional basketball club Baskonia. This agreement covers the club’s next two seasons, ending in 2025.

eToro Expands Sports Sponsorship Portfolio

This deal follows eToro’s recent agreement with Premiership Rugby, an English professional rugby union league, to sponsor its upcoming season. The social trading platform aims to broaden its UK sports sponsorship presence.

Under the new arrangement, eToro’s branding will appear on Baskonia players’ uniforms, LED boards, and court-side banners and be promoted on social media and fan forums.

eToro views this sponsorship as a demonstration of its commitment to reaching new audiences, increasing awareness about investment power, and promoting shared knowledge.

eToro stated, “As one of Europe’s leading sports sponsors, eToro is dedicated to forming strategic alliances with sporting communities to raise awareness of its platform and the potential for building knowledge and wealth through investing.”

Tali Salomon, the Regional Manager for Latin America and Iberia at eToro expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. He said eToro’s social features closely aligned with the strong sense of community among sports fans. The community and shared knowledge power the trading and investment platform. He said they were excited to sponsor a team in Spain and connect with basketball enthusiasts.

eToro renewed its sports partnership with AS Monaco, a popular European football club, and also teamed up with Powerleague to supply equipment to numerous netball players.

In addition to the Baskonia deal, eToro sponsors 17 teams across the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, and Rugby Australia.
