Tixee Becomes a Sponsor of Apollon FC

Broker News

Tixee, a Cyprus-based broker, has signed a sports sponsorship agreement with Apollon Limassol FC for the playing seasons 2022 through 2024. The agreement was announced on Monday and will feature Tixee’s logo on the front left side of the official kit short of Apollon Limassol FC.

“It’s a pleasure to work with a company that shares our beliefs in teamwork, dedication, and responsibility. We also believe in empowering our community, and we’re delighted to support a club that supports this idea,” said Stavros Ioannides, Tixee’s CEO.

“We are excited to begin our partnership with Apollon FC, as well as increase Tixee’s profile throughout the island and internationally,” he added.

Brokers and Sports

Tixee provides retail trading services for currency pairs and contracts for differences in various other popular asset classes. The broker is based in Cyprus with a Cypriot license but is also regulated in Seychelles and South Africa. They signed the sports sponsorship to enhance its brand recognition across the Mediterranean island.

The club is known as Apollon Limassol FC, Cyprus’s most successful football team. It was founded in 1954 and has won several domestic titles. In addition, it’s participated in the Champions League a few times.

“Tixee is a very successful firm in the trading sector, and we are confident that our collaboration and cooperation between the two companies will benefit both,” George Georgiades, Apollon’s Sales & Development Manager, added.

That’s why sports sponsorships have become so popular, with companies like eToro and IC Markets backing dozens of football clubs across Europe to raise awareness about themselves as brands.
